Description

Engage Classroom

This program is perfect for students who are new to robotics and want to explore the field without the time commitment required for full-day competitions. Designed as an introduction to robotics, the Engage Classroom program offers a hands-on, collaborative learning experience where students can build, program, and test robots at a more relaxed pace.

Participants will work with the same equipment and game field as the competitive teams but without the pressure of preparing for competitions. This allows for a focus on foundational skills, creative problem-solving, and teamwork, making it an ideal option for those looking to develop their interest in robotics.

Schedule: Tuesdays at 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM during September 15th - December 1st

Payments: Payments can be paid in one payment or divided out monthly, whatever is most convenient for your family. Scholarships are available should you need support to participate in the program. If you prefer to pay in person, you can choose the Cash option at check-out time and pay with a Check or Cash in Person. All Checks should be made out to "R4Creating". This fee does not cover the cost of travel to competitions.

Scholarships: Sweat equity scholarships entail supporting the team through volunteer activities such as Montezuma Ball, STEM Fair, or facility maintenance. Fundraising assistance, like seeking support from local businesses, is also encouraged.  Please request scholarships HERE.

In addition, students and parents will be asked to participate in fundraising activities to raise support for the entire program or to assist the team in some volunteer positions.
